The trend for the past four years on the CAHSEE is about an 8% drop in students passing. This must correlate with the percent increase in EL students we have and it continues to increase every year so our passing scores will continue to drop unless something is done. Something must be done to make the CAHSEE user friendly for non english speaking students .
